The client’s challenge

Requests, project information and reporting each carry part of the operational picture. The challenge was to give those processes a useful structure and connect the information behind them, while fitting the way different teams work.

Our contribution

CIPHER’s work spans Power Apps applications, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint integrations and Power BI reporting. These form a wider programme of software and automation for the organisation, with individual tools addressing specific parts of its work.

Requests with a clear structure

The request-service work includes a design that connects each request to its individual items, with separate responsibilities for entering details and pricing them. Review before submission and structured records provide a foundation for the work that follows.

Connecting planning and reporting

The wider engagement includes project-data integrations and the cloud foundations supporting a collaborative visual planning application. CIPHER’s contribution covers data access, integration, deployment and operational handover; the visual planning application was a collaborative effort. Reporting work includes commitment history and operational measures.

A programme built around the work

The common thread is the process, from entering a request to accessing project information and reviewing progress. Custom applications and automation connect those steps, while reporting gives the information a useful place to be read and understood.
