A bespoke platform connecting project information, reporting, documents and AI-assisted meeting workflows for a project-services business.
The client’s challenge
Project information lived across planning systems, documents and reports. Meetings added decisions and commitments that needed to find their way back into the project record. The planning tools, document workflows and reports needed access to the same project information.
Our contribution
CIPHER developed the integration services, data-processing tools and desktop workflows to connect those systems. The programme brought together Oracle Primavera Cloud, Azure, SharePoint and Power BI, alongside custom software for processing project information and preparing updates.
One platform, several workflows
Project-data services retrieve and prepare information for downstream applications and reporting. Document workflows deliver structured outputs into SharePoint. Access controls govern which project information callers can retrieve. Together, these components support the tools people use to plan, review and report.
From meetings to reviewed updates
A desktop meeting workbench brings another workflow into the same environment. Recordings or transcripts are interpreted into proposed tasks, constraints and commitments, with supporting evidence available alongside them. People review and approve the proposals before publication; saved jobs and explicit publication outcomes support recovery and follow-up.
The engineering behind it
The work includes API integration, cloud execution, data transformation, desktop software, language-model integration and operational reporting. The important connection is between those components: information can be prepared, checked and passed into the next part of the process with its context intact.
